HERE'S WHAT FOLKS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE DOGS FROM
SAMOYEDS
"Dante is just the greatest
dog on earth ! Just like you told us, he stops traffic nearly every
day--people actually get out of their cars to come over & meet him.
He is a strange (to me) mix of dominant aggressive and pure lover.
He plays happily at the public run with all the rough tough Dobermans,
Pit Bulls & Rottweilers, and yet he sits down and licks any child
that comes over to him. And he is extremely smart. We couldn't
be happier!" "In November of 2000, we were
in the market to purchase another Sammie, after losing a 13 year old
one, so we started looking for breeders. We attended a couple
of dog show and made a few calls. We found Sandy & Bill Broskett.
After a little while we put our name on a waiting list for a puppy as
a pet. In February, we got that anticipated phone call! It was
just like waiting for a baby! "We believe all these traits have
come from his wonderful breeders, who were also there with any &
all of my questions. Plus, we made lifelong friends! If you are looking
for a Sammie, you don't have to look any further than here!" "We picked up Nikki, our little
white powder puff, in Nov.2000. She was a bright & happy pup from
the start, even during that long 4 hour trip home from Vestal, NY to
central New Jersey - no whining, crying or messing. Nikki came home
to a 10 year-old Sammy and a 13 year-old cat and gets along beautifully
with both of them. She keeps our old gal moving and they play tug-o-war
with a play toy every day and tag with the cat every night. She socializes
well with friends' and neighbors' dogs and loves most people (she's
a good watch dog) and adores children. When we go the park, children
just gravitate to what looks like a big, plush toy and she responds
gently to them. As for Nikki's human family, which includes my husband
and our son, she can't get enough of us. She is very affectionate and
lovable AND she is also full of pizzazz and has quite an opinion of
herself. She has graduated from her crate and has the run of the house
with absolutely no problems. The thing about Sammys is that they're
kind of like potato chips - you can't have just one. We know that in
the future we will be visiting Sandy and Bill to pick up another "powder
puff". |

In June,2002 we came to your home to
pick up our Sammy puppy. We were very excited and full of anticipation.
What would she be like? How cute would she be? Would she fit in with
our other dogs at home? Well, Flurry has certainly exceeded our expectations.
She is an absolutely wonderful dog. She is very beautiful, playful and
lovable. Flurry and I have been going to obedience class every week
since she was six months old. She is doing better and better. She is
finally staying on the long sits and downs. She had a problem with staying.
The instructor said Flurry loves me too much! She always wants to be
near me. She likes obedience class, but her favorite thing to do is
going to agility class. When I tell Flurry we are going to school, she
runs and sits next to her leash. She really loves it and is doing quite
well. She looks so pretty when she jumps. Many people remark to me what
a beautiful dog she is. My reply is always the same, "Thank you.
As beautiful as ! she is, her personality and temperament are even better."
"This spring my family and I decided
to seek a Samoyed puppy to become the latest addition to our household.
I contacted my veterinarian to get the name and phone number of a contact
for Samoyed breeders, so that I could locate breeders with puppies.
I made some phone calls, and the people I spoke with (also breeders)
spoke highly of William and Sandra Broskett and their dogs, and recommended
them to me without reservation.
I started my search on the Internet, I found the NYS representative of the Samoyed Breeders, she gave me the names of a lot of different breeders in the area and explained about the two different looks of the Samoyed. I explained I was leaning to the Teddybear side and she said the breeders she would recommend were Bill and Sandy Broskett. I contacted Sandy that day. We e-mailed back and forth for a few days, and then talked on the phone. She explained that she had a female that was just a few days pregnant and she would not have the litter till December 2004. Sandy then told me that they were going to a large dog show in Springfield, Mass and if I wanted, I would be welcomed to come and meet the Brosketts and their dogs. I drove to that show, Met Tinker and Strider along with the Brosketts. Tinker was just so gentle and sweet, she just had such a loving personality. I knew that this would be a great litter and wanted to become a member of the Brosketts large dog family. After the first meeting in Springfield, Sandy and Bill were very helpful getting me ready for the upcoming arrival. They told me what books, tools and food I would need. Told me all about the breed and just gave me moral support for the upcoming arrival. On December 1st Tinker's litter was born. Six beautiful puppies. Sandy called me and continued to e-mail me pictures of the puppies. She wrote weekly to tell me about the puppies' progress. Then the date was determined to bring the puppy home. The day finally arrived and I drove two and a half hours to get my bundle of joy. Sandy and Bill welcomed my mother and I into their home and introduced me to Mr. Purple. I picked him up for the first time and fell in love with him the moment I looked at his little face. From that moment on MOWGLIAKA "Tinkers Stinker" was a wonderful part of my life. Not only had the Brosketts given me a new best friend, but have also helped me along the way on raising him. He has accomplished two levels of Obedience and has started Agility, too. He turns heads everywhere we go. He loves people, and is great with kids! I cannot say enough good
things about the Brosketts. Mowgli and I have gone back to see his
family and I realize just how lucky I am to be a part of the Broskett
dog family. |
